About
"San Diego Chalk Artist" (formerly Atlanta Chalk Artist) was founded in 2015. Principal artist Katie Bush (she/her) has two art degrees and has been active as a professional chalk artist since 2013, branching into sign lettering and design in 2014. Born and raised in Atlanta, she co-founded the Georgia Chalk Artists Guild. She moved to San Diego in 2018. She provides unique, high quality chalk art services to the metro San Diego area, Los Angeles, and beyond. She often travels the country to create chalk art. All of the chalks that she uses are water-soluble, non toxic, and eco friendly. She can also provide permanent chalk applications. Schedule willing, she is available for last minute projects, though it is strongly recommend that you reach out weeks prior to your project to ensure that you're on her calendar as the schedule tends to fill up during wedding and festival seasons.
